Doubt “Did God really say?”

Our greatest threat to our fellowship with God is not “SIN“. I know I know those of us that have been in church may have been taught that but consider this….

In the Garden of Eden Adam and Eve had perfect fellowship with God. Then the fallen Lucifer now Satan with great envy & hate for the relationship of mankind with his creator introduced “Doubt”. Because of the chit chat or small talk as it were Eve began to trust the subtle serpent more than all she ever knew, her husband, and God. “Ye shall not surely die” said the serpent back then and the dragon continues his rant undermining God by introducing doubt to those who would otherwise believe.
Eve gets a bad rap because her error was recorded for all to see. Everything from pms symptoms, labor pains, to broken fellowship with God have been attributed to her one (recorded) poor choice/bad decision. Imagine if future generations were impacted to this degree by our actions today! We’ll my friend they are…

Listen to this account in Genesis chapter 3

Proverbs 3:5-8

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

About liv4Christ4ever

Seeking to promote true life through Jesus Christ by making the Gospel relevant to our lives today. Presenting the word of God as the final authority on how we as believers, hypocrites and those yet to believe should live in order to please our Creator. One thing is sure, the creature (all creation) was created for a purpose. We will do well by acknowledging our Creator and using His gift of free will to accomplish His purposes. According to scripture “Every knee will bow (Submission) and every tongue will confess (Confession)” to Jesus Christ the Lord. We just choose to submit and confess Christ’s Lordship daily that we might live with Him now and forever.

  1. Great post! Doubt is a real crafty tool of the devil that has become so common that it can go unnoticed. It shows up in marriage, family relationships, and personal thoughts of yourself and salvation. Thanks for speaking on this.
